Alanna obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2015. Prior to this, she completed her Honors Bachelor of Health Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University.
As an athlete at Western University in rowing and track and field, Alanna developed a sound appreciation for the goals and physical demands of athletic populations. As a physiotherapist, Alanna is a proponent of client-centered care and will focus on an individual’s goals in order to help them return to their sport or activity as quickly as possible. To create a comprehensive treatment plan, she uses a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, tailored exercise programs, ergonomic assessment, modalities, and empowering her clients through education.
Alanna is passionate about orthopaedic rehabilitation and is currently pursuing further education in manual therapy and acupuncture. In her spare time, Alanna enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and playing beach volleyball.
