Alexandra Chen

Alexandra graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Previously, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from McMaster University.

Through her studies, she developed special interests in orthopaedics and neuromuscular rehabilitation fields working with a large variety of clients ranging from rehabilitation of sports injuries to neurological injuries/conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis. As a physiotherapist, Alexandra focuses on thorough assessments and collaborating with clients to develop an individualized care program to address concerns. To further her studies, Alexandra has completed courses in K-taping and Level I manual therapy. In the near future, she is planning to advance her knowledge in higher level manual therapy courses, acupuncture and neurological rehabilitation.

Outside of physiotherapy, Alexandra enjoys playing sports such as basketball and ultimate frisbee. She also enjoys playing the clarinet and has been an active performer with various community orchestras in the GTA.
