Natalie completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, U.K. Prior to this, she had obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S.
As a homecare physiotherapist Natalie works with a diverse population of patients including those with chronic or degenerative neurological and musculoskeletal conditions as well as acute injuries. Using a combination of manual therapy and active exercise programs she is able to address their needs, while working towards achieving their goals.
During Natalie’s final year of university she, as part of a team of researchers, was able to publish a paper studying the effects of sedentary behaviour in older adults. As a result of this experience she maintains a passion for working with an elderly population to motivate, educate and encourage her patients to be more active and therefore healthier for longer.
