Surabhi graduated with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Manipal University, India. She has worked as a licensed and registered physical therapist since 2013, first in Alberta, and now in Ontario.
Surabhi takes keen interest in private practice and has focussed her practice in that niche. She has experience working with orthopedic conditions like sports injuries, post-fracture and post-surgical rehabilitation, geriatrics, motor vehicle accident related injuries and work-related injuries.
Out of interest in women’s health, she underwent training in treating urinary incontinence. She also took courses with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and has attained the CAFCI title, which enables her to administer acupuncture treatment to her patients.
Surabhi believes in incorporating a combination of education, active exercises, passive manual techniques and other modalities to enable patients to reach their goals. She believes that the treatment process is a partnership between the patient and the therapist and enjoys working with each patient to reach their full potential.
Outside of work, Surabhi enjoys reading, going on nature walks and travelling the world.
