Miriam has worked in various private sports medicine clinics and hospital outpatient orthopedics departments since 2003. She has been a Status Appointment of Lecturer at the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto since 2008, and has taught in the cardiorespiratory unit, basic/advanced orthopedic units, and taught gross anatomy/neuroanatomy courses.
She started her own private homecare physiotherapy business in 2010, and has a diverse caseload in the community including geriatrics, pediatrics, post-surgical, general musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Miriam has been a physiotherapist for Skate Canada for the past 13 years for both domestic & international figure skating events. She will be the lead medical practitioner for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games in roller figure skating. She is a medical practitioner in volleyball, handball, gymnastics, racquetball and squash.
