Miriam Granek, Physiotherapist
Miriam has worked in various private sports medicine clinics and hospital outpatient orthopedics departments since 2003. She has been a Status Appointment of Lecturer at the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto since 2008, and has taught in the cardiorespiratory unit, basic/advanced orthopedic units, and taught gross anatomy/neuroanatomy courses.
She started her own private homecare physiotherapy business in 2010, and has a diverse caseload in the community including geriatrics, pediatrics, post-surgical, general musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Miriam has been a physiotherapist for Skate Canada for the past 13 years for both domestic and international figure skating events. She was the lead medical practitioner for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games in roller figure skating. She is also a medical practitioner in volleyball, handball, gymnastics, racquetball and squash.
